Five years ago, Los Angeles denizen Robin Blazak discovered her love for this small mountain town. Packing her bags, she hightailed it out to Aspen and hasn’t looked back since. While her love for the outdoors drew her here, it is the spirit of this unique local community that has continuously reinvigorated her passion for this place. As she quickly discovered the breadth of talent in the Aspen valley, she came to the realization that this was a community full of writers, actors and other talented individuals who yearned for creative outlet and inspiring production. Within a year of her arrival, Aspen Entertainment Group (AEG) was formulated. Founded upon Robin’s desire to gather talented people from the community together under a hub of creative energy where artistic ideas and novel thoughts could be produced and executed, the company has been evolving ever since. Excited about the opportunity to produce her very first film project in Aspen, it has been Robin’s greatest pleasure to see her broad idea come into fruition with this current project. She has been hiring locally and has begun to offer the community she so loves the job opportunities and economic business she has long imagined. While the company is singularly focused on the current production of Cougar Hunting at this time, Robin’s goal is to train and evolve a group of Aspen locals to continue onward encouraging further productions in the Roaring Fork Valley. She plans to invest proceeds from the film into local charitable organizations supporting the arts. |
